Quality Inspector

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing regular product evaluations and recording inspection results for injected and extruded cores in accordance with Core-Tech and customer specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read specifications to understand the quality requirements
- Dimensionally inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
- Perform visual inspection of ceramic cores per customer specifications
- Report inspection and test data
- Maintain product tractability
- Control non-conforming material
- Perform final visual inspection
- X-ray inspection
Minimum Job Specifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
- Ability to use calipers and micrometers
- Good math and technical skills
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Working knowledge of MS Office
Organization Relationships:
The Quality Inspector reports directly to the Quality Department Supervisor.
